How to Apply

A simple guide to help you understand the steps before starting your application.

Before you begin your application, it’s important to know what information will be required and how the process works. We’ve outlined everything clearly so you can prepare your details ahead of time and move through the steps without confusion.

The application asks for your personal information, academic records such as WAEC or NECO results, your preferred course, and any other details that will help us guide you correctly. Once you are ready, you can proceed to the application form on the next page and complete it at your own pace.

01

Submit Your Initial Admission Documents

To begin your admission process, you must submit the required initial academic and identity documents. These documents allow us to open your admission file and confirm your eligibility for admission into a Philippine university.

You will be required to upload:

  • WAEC / NECO Original Result

  • SS1–SS3 School Transcript

  • Passport Data Page

  • Birth Certificate

  • Secondary School Testimonial

What happens after you submit them

A Philippines Admissions officer will review your documents to ensure that:

  • Your results meet university requirements

  • Your academic records are complete and authentic

  • Your personal information matches your application details

  • You are eligible for the program and degree level you selected

If your documents meet the requirements, you will be cleared to proceed to Step 2, where you make the Admission Processing Fee for the university to issue your Notice of Admission (Admission Letter).

Note

These are only the initial documents needed to secure your admission.
You will provide additional documents later for authentication and embassy submission during the visa stage. We will guide you step-by-step through every stage.

02

Pay the School’s Admission Fee (₦150,000)

After your documents are accepted, you will be asked to pay the university’s ₦150,000 official admission fee.
This payment goes directly to the school and allows them to begin processing your admission.

Once the fee is paid, your application is forwarded to the admissions office for approval.

03

Receive Your Admission Letter

Once the university reviews your documents and accepts you, they will issue your Provisional Admission Letter, also called the Notice of Admission (NOA).

This is the official document that confirms you have been offered a place at the school.

What happens next?

Before the Philippine Embassy in Abuja can process your visa, this Admission Letter must go through official authentication in the Philippines.

This authentication is done by the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) through a process called the Apostille (previously known as the “Red Ribbon”).

Why is the Apostille important?
  • It proves that your Admission Letter is genuine.

  • It allows the Philippine Embassy in Abuja to verify your acceptance directly with the school.

  • No student visa can be issued without this authenticated (Apostilled) document.

Once your Admission Letter is ready for authentication, you can proceed to the next stage, where the school and DFA complete all processing and prepare your full admission package for embassy submission.

04

Make Your Processing Payment (₦1,500,000 + ₦60,000 Shipping)

After your Admission Letter has been issued, the next stage is to complete the official processing and authentication in the Philippines. This is required before you can attend the Philippine Embassy in Abuja for your visa.

What you are paying for

Your payment covers:

  • ₦1,500,000 — full school-side processing, documentation, and DFA authentication

  • ₦60,000 — international shipping of your authenticated admission package to Nigeria

What happens during this stage

The school sends your Notice of Admission (NOA) to the Philippine Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) for authentication through the Apostille process (formerly called the “Red Ribbon”).

What will be shipped to you

After authentication, you will receive a complete package containing:

  • Your Apostilled (Red Ribbon) Admission Letter

  • Supporting school documents needed for embassy submission and enrollment

This package is sent to you via international courier, covered by the ₦60,000 shipping fee.

05

Document Authentication (₦500,000) (Optional)

After receiving your admission package from the school, your documents must be authenticated in Abuja before the Philippines Embassy can accept them. This step is mandatory for every student, and it involves two government offices:

1. Federal Ministry of Education (FME), Abuja

Documents authenticated here:

  • WAEC/NECO Certificate

  • SS1–SS3 School Transcript

  • School Leaving Testimonial

This ministry verifies your academic history and confirms that your credentials were issued by approved institutions.

2. Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), Abuja

Documents authenticated here:

  • All FME-stamped documents (WAEC/NECO, Transcript, Testimonial)

  • Birth Certificate

  • Affidavit of Support

  • Sponsor’s ID

  • Police Character Certificate

  • Medical Certificate

The MFA confirms the legitimacy of your identity, sponsorship, and supporting documents before embassy submission.

This step is mandatory for all students. These ministries verify your academic documents before they can be accepted by the Philippines Embassy.

Optional Authentication Service — ₦500,000

This fee is optional. It applies only if you want our Abuja representative to help you submit your documents to the ministries for authentication, as the process can be lengthy, technical, and time-sensitive.

Our Abuja representative can assist you with the entire process, including:

  • Document preparation and arrangement

  • Verification checks to ensure nothing is missing

  • Submissions at both ministries (FME and MFA)

  • Following up until all stamps and authentications are completed

  • Ensuring your documents meet the Philippine Embassy screening standard

Using this service helps you avoid common mistakes that lead to:

  • Embassy delays

  • Returned applications

  • Rejection due to incorrect or incomplete authentication
